(Wichita Falls, Tx) – Four people have been arrested in connection with the violent murder of a Wichita Falls man.

On Saturday, May 21st around 12:30pm, police were called to a welfare check at a house on Brown Street.  Inside they found 23 year old Zachary Wood dead and immediately suspected foul play.  KFDX TV in Wichita Falls reports investigators described the scene of a ransacked house with evidence of a “massive bloodletting event that occurred in multiple rooms”.  The medical examiner ruled Wood’s manner of death as a homicide.  Police believe the murder took place on Friday night.

Four people are in Wichita County Jail on murder charges – 28 year old William Bell, 18 year old Ronnie Lang, 27 year old Payton Collier and 21 year old Ashley Marie Esselborn, all of Wichita Falls.  Police say Collier and Wood were roommates at the home on Brown Street.
