O'Rourke Shows Up To Abbott Briefing On Uvalde

(Uvalde, TX) — Beto O’Rourke disrupted Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s briefing Wednesday afternoon on a South Texas deadly school shooting.

The Democrat walked toward the stage in Uvalde to blame the Republican for the attack. He was escorted out after being cursed at by those on stage. Abbott told reporters a short time later it wasn’t time to make political points but come together.

Fellow Republicans Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and House Speaker Dade Phelan criticized O’Rourke for walking up to the stage.

Abbott and O’Rourke face each other in November in the governor’s race.
