New Big 12 Commish: Texas, Oklahoma Exit Still Planned For 2025

(Arlington, TX) — New Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark does not believe potential expansion signals a quicker end to Texas and Oklahoma.

Yormark told reporters Wednesday at the Big 12 Media Days going on this week in Arlington, that he sees the issues as completely separate noting all options are on the table. UT and OU are expected to leave the Big 12 in 2025 for the SEC.

Yormark says any deal letting the Longhorns and Sooners out early have to be in the Big 12’s best interest.
