Poll: TX Gov, Lt Gov Races Close

(Houston, TX) — The latest polling shows the race for Texas governor is getting close.

Republican incumbent Greg Abbott leads Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke by five points in the latest University of Houston study of likely voters.

In the lieutenant governor’s race, incumbent Republican Dan Patrick leads Democrat Mike Collier 48 to 43%.
