Clint Black brought his “35 Years of Killin’ Time” tour to a sold out Billy Bob’s Texas on Saturday Night(Nov. 16th). His nearly two hour show featured 23 songs including all of the songs in order from his “Killin’ Time” album. Clint’s debut release from 1989 spawned five #1 hits including the title song.
Opening the show with “The Shoes You’re Wearing” and then explaining to the crowd that he was going to sing all 10 songs on the “Killin’ Time” album in order.
Following that, he launched into a greatest hits ride including many of his 22 #1 songs. He also threw in a tribute to Merle Haggard with “Big City” and Waylon Jennings.
Clint told the crowd that Billy Bob’s Texas was the final stop in 2024 for “35 Years of Killin’ Time” tour. He added the occasion also marked his 35th anniversary of playing the World’s Largest Honky Tonk.
Clint closed the show with a three song encore which included “Like The Rain,” “Been There” a song he co-wrote with Steve Wariner and finally “Tuckered Out” which also featured all the members of Clint’s talented band showcasing their talents.
