(STEPHENVILLE, TX.) – A 7-month investigation by the Erath County Sheriff’s Office has led to the arrest of 20 people in connection with a burglary and narcotics ring.  Sheriff Matt Coats said most of the suspects were from Erath County and that the thefts were tied to the drug offenses.  Investigators have recovered about $200,000 in stolen property including cars, trailers and riding lawn mowers.  Additionally, officers seized 20 guns illegal held by the suspects.  Several are facing charges of organized criminal activity.
