(Dallas, TX) — Two major airlines based here in North Texas are among other companies preparing for the landfall of Hurricane Florence on the Carolina coastline this week.
Fort Worth-based American Airlines and Dallas-based Southwest Airlines are both allowing customers to rebook their tickets without change fees. American has issued travel alerts for 30 airports it serves, including the carrier’s hub in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Southwest’s travel advisory also covers Charlotte, plus Charleston, South Carolina, and two airports in Washington, D.C.
