(Houston, TX)  —  The Department of Agriculture says Buc-ee’s is recalling its teriyaki beef jerky because of possible contamination by metal particles.

The distributor, Junior’s Smokehouse in El Campo, recalled 650 pounds of “Buc-ee’s Hill Country Brand Teriyaki Beef Jerky” in four-ounce plastic pouches.  They were produced last month, and a week ago a customer complained about finding metal in the product.  No injuries have been reported.

Customers who bought the recalled jerky are asked to throw it out or return it for a refund.
