(DECATUR, TX) – Some north Texas students will not be in school today, or for the next few days, after their high school flooded.
Decatur ISD says due to severe rains and subsequent flooding over the weekend, the High School campus only will be closed today through Wednesday. A drain on the rooftop reportedly collapsed flooding parts of the building. The district tweeted last night that a restoration company is repairing the affected areas and they plan to resume normal activities and schedule on Thursday.
