(Dallas, TX)  —  Today is National Voter Registration Day and a number of events are being held around North Texas.

You can check if you’re registered by going to the web site of the Texas Secretary of State and entering the requested personal information.  The site will tell you if your voter status is active, what precinct you live in, and what elections are coming up.

October 9th is the last day to register to vote in the November general election.
