(Fort Worth, TX) – One person is under arrest following a standoff near an elementary school in Fort Worth.

Police say the man was taken into custody about two miles from the home he was believed holed up in on Willow Creek Court near Everman.  The suspect is accused of taking a shot at his girlfriend’s car near Parkway Elementary.

The school, located in the Crowley School District, was put on lockdown during the stand-off.  No injuries were reported.
