(Arlington, TX)  —  The City of Arlington is handing out sandbags due to concerns about flooding.

Public Works workers are handing out the free bags at their north operations center on Main near Cooper.  People will have to show an ID or bill proving they live in Arlington to get the sandbags.  The city handed out two-thousand pounds worth of bags Monday.

Due to high water both boat ramps and the fishing dock are closed at Lake Arlington.
