(Austin, TX) – Texas Department of Public Safety wants people to be safe while they’re out celebrating Halloween tonight.

Director Steven McCraw says drivers need to slow down for trick-or-treaters and to be on the lookout for any kids who run into the roads.  Those who plan to go tick-or-treating are urged to wear light colored costumes, so drivers can see them.  DPS also says people should carry a flashlight or glow stick.
