12pm  UPDATE:  It’s Gil Brandt, the former  Dallas Cowboys VP of player personnel from 1960 to 1988.  Brandt will be inducted into the Ring of Honor at AT&T Stadium on Thursday, Nov 29th at the game against the New Orleans Saints.

(Frisco, TX)  —  The Dallas Cowboys are expected to announce a new addition to the team’s Ring of Honor today.

Several media outlets reported last night that the team had announced Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will hold a news conference at noon today on a “football-related matter.”  Sources say the announcement is about the Ring of Honor, but no one is saying who is being inducted, or how many people are being inducted.
