(GRANDBURY, TX) – Students in Granbury and Azle are mourning the loss of two educators, killed over the weekend in a car crash.

Granbury High School choir director Jeremy Bowen and Ashley Morrison, a music teacher at Hoover Elementary School in Azle, were pronounced dead at the scene of a single vehicle accident.  A DPS Trooper found the couple’s car in a ravine off I-20 west of Weatherford, around 8 yesterday morning.  Investigators have not yet determined what caused the crash.  Counselors will be on hand this morning at both schools to talk with students and teachers dealing with the loss.
