(FORT WORTH, TX) — One of two men who were hospitalized for carbon monoxide poisoning while camping at Texas Motor Speedway over the weekend has now died.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s has identified the man as 49-year-old Cameron Hickman, of Flower Mound, who died shortly after being taken to Texas Health Alliance Hospital.  The two men were rushed to hospitals in critical condition after becoming ill while inside their converted bus in the TMS infield.  The second man was flown to a hospital in Plano for treatment in a hyperbaric chamber.

Fort Worth Firefighters determined a gas-powered generator inside the bus wasn’t properly ventilated.
