(Hurst, TX) – Four passengers sustained minor injuries when a TRE train heading eastbound through Hurst, hit the empty flatbed trailer of an 18 wheeler. 

Hurst Police say just after 8am this morning the commuter train was going through the crossing at the Precinct Line Rd. when it struck the trailer on the northbound truck.  The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured and there were four minor, non-lifethreatening injuries to passengers on the train.  TRE officials are working on the removal of the train and the transportation of the passengers from the location.

Traffic was backed up at the State Highway 10 intersection with Precinct Line Rd.
