(Granbury, TX) – Thanks to a non-profit emergency response provider, Granbury schools will now have access to potentially lifesaving equipment.
According to the Hood County News, Texas Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is providing every classroom in the Granbury school district with a ‘Stop the Bleed’ medical kit. The kits provide staff with resources to assist students and teachers in the event of a serious injury. School officials thanked Texas EMS clinical coordinator Jodi Fries for her leadership in training the district staff for the “Stop the Bleed” program.
“Stop The Bleed” is a national campaign designed to provide the public with immediate access to products that can help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.
