(Fort Worth, TX) — Fort Worth’s Lockheed Martin is celebrating a big new contract award.
Under the 22-billion-dollar contract, the company will build more than 250 new F-35 fighter jets. The U.S. Air Force, Marines and Navy will get a little more than 100 of them. Lockheed says the rest will go to partner nations or be sold to foreign militaries. Most of the jet construction will be done in Fort Worth.
