(Weatherford, TX) — Eight members of a Parker County family are lucky to be alive after fire swept through their home.

A mother, father and their six kids were all in the home near Springtown when the fire broke out Thursday morning.  Parker County firefighters and a Deputy can be seen on video pulling the two adults and two children from the house.  The woman was taken to the Parkland burn ward, her husband and their four-year-old were hospitalized for smoke inhalation.  Two other children, a six-week-old baby and 2-year-old girl are a Cook Children’s Hospital.  Three older children have been treated and released.
