(Dallas, TX) — North Texas residents are paying their respects to the 41st president at the facility named after his son.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center on the SMU campus in Dallas, has set up an area where people mourning the death of former President George H.W. Bush can leave notes.  These will be given to the Bush family following the funeral.  Mr. Bush died Friday night at the age of 94 at his home in Houston.

Along with all the other surviving presidents, the elder Bush attended the dedication of the George W. Bush Presidential Center & Library in 2013.
