(Fort Worth, TX) – DFW Airport is prepping for delays and cancellations this morning.

Winter weather is forecast for DFW Airport today and Thursday.  Early this morning, the airport reported more than 50 cancellations and a handful of delays.  The airport tweeted out for travelers to check the status of their flight with their airline and to allow ample time for safe travel to and from the Airport.

Overnight, TxDot Road crews pretreated many North Texas bridges, overpasses and roadways in preparation of possible ice.
