(Fort Worth, TX) — A 71-year-old woman and her 12-year-old granddaughter are dead after a weekend crash.

Fort Worth Police say the woman drove her Honda SUV into a tree while driving her three grandchildren yesterday morning.  A Tarrant County medical examiner says the girl was pronounced dead soon after being brought into the hospital and her grandmother died several hours later.  The two other children weren’t injured.
