(Granbury, TX) – After 17 years as the Hood County District Attorney, Rob Christian is stepping down to go into private practice.
Christian spent a total of 21 years in the DA’s office. According to the Hood County news, his last day on the job will be Friday, March 1st. The governor will appoint a replacement to fulfill the remainder of Christian’s term, then the office will be up for grabs in the 2020 election.
In announcing his resignation, Christian said he’s really proud of the work he’s done, but that he was ready for a change. Christian plans to open a law office in downtown Granbury.
