(Fort Worth, TX) – If you thought hosting a slumber party was only for teenagers, think again.

Fort Worth Animal Care & Control is bringing back all the fun with one additional element: dogs.  Today, the Fort Worth Animal Shelter is hosting a Shelter Dog Slumber Party.  Fort Worth residents are invited to take one of the shelter’s dogs into their home for a night of cuddles and lots of love.  The dog can be returned to the shelter the following day.  Volunteers can pick up the dog of their choice beginning at Noon on Jan 18th.

The shelter will supply foster parents with a leash, collar, bag of food and overnight “report card” to help gain more information about the pet.
