(Covington, TX) – The Covington High School Student Council has created a clothing closet to serve the needs of students and local community members who need a helping hand.
The Cleburne Times Review reports the closet has a variety of clothes and personal items for girls, boys, women and men that have been donated by community members and several churches in Covington and Cleburne. Organizers say anyone who wants to get items from the closet must be referred by teachers or staff within the Covington school district.
The district will host an open house for the closet from 5-6 p.m. Feb. 12th by the library in the Kiblinger Building.
