(Fort Worth, TX) — More people are riding the new TEXRail service between downtown Fort Worth and DFW International Airport than transportation officials expected.
Nearly 83-thousand people have ridden TEXRail since the trains started rolling on January 10th, including almost ten-thousand each day this past weekend. Rides have been free so far, but Trinity Metro officials are confident TEXRail will be just as popular when fares kick in on Friday.
A one-way ride will cost two dollars and 50 cents, and a five-dollar day pass will include access to bus service.
