(Burleson, TX) – An arrest has been made in a fatal shooting in Burleson.

42 year old Patrick Daniel Murphy has been charged with the murder of his neighbor.  Police say it happened at a home in the 600 block of Lynnwood Avenue on Monday afternoon.  Investigators with the Burleson Police Department say it appears that the shooting was the result of a dispute between neighbors.  The Cleburne Times Review reports that Murphy called 911 and said his neighbor, 60 year old Albinus Zoerner, came to his home and threatened him.  Murphy told police while Zoerner was in his home, he shot him.  Zoerner later died at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.

Murphy is in the Johnson County Jail.  No bond has been set yet.
