(Dallas, TX) — The grandson of the actor known as “The King of Hollywood” is dead.
After his fiancée found him unresponsive, Clark Gable the Third passed away Friday at a Dallas hospital at the age of 30. Gable was filming the crime drama “Sunset at Dawn” at the time of his death. He is best known to TV viewers as the host of the campy syndicated reality show “Cheaters,” which was taped in-and-around Dallas/Fort Worth.
Gable’s grandfather was a legendary Hollywood actor who appeared in the classic films “Gone With the Wind” and “It Happened One Night.”
