(Azle, Tx) – Grief counselors will be on hand at Azle High School today as students return from Spring Break to find a classmate has died in a tragic accident. 
Azle High School Senior, Dayton Bryant was killed in a skydiving accident March 10th in Colorado, a day before his 18th birthday. Authorities say his parachute failed to open properly. Bryant was a member of the Azle High marching band. He played the tuba.
A candlelight vigil was held Sunday night in Azle Park, hosted by his band-mates. Classmates are expected to wear purple to school today in memory of Bryant.
