(Fort Worth, TX) — A former Crowley ISD Special Ed teacher will spend 30 years in prison for murdering his wife.

The Tarrant County D-A’s office says Sean Johnson was sentenced on Tuesday after pleading guilty to the murder of 47-year-old Michelle Johnson.  She was also a teacher for visually impaired students in the Crowley ISD.  Sean Johnson turned himself in after shooting his wife in their home in Edgecliff Village nearly two years ago.

Prosecutors say Johnson never gave a motive for the killing.
