(Weatherford, TX) — Charges have been upgraded against a Springtown man charged in the death of a 3-month-old baby left in his care.

21-year-old Kaleb Eisenmann has now been charged with Capital Murder following the death of a baby boy identified as “Jax”.  Parker County investigators believe Eisenmann caused a head injury February 14th, which eventually lead to the baby’s death last week at a hospice facility in Fort Worth.  Eisenman reportedly admitted to officers that he became frustrated with the baby and put the infant down hard on a bed.  The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has not yet released the baby’s cause of death.  Eisenman is said to be the boyfriend of the baby’s mother.

As a result of the enhanced charges, Kaleb Eisenman’s bond has been raised to $1 million.  He remains in custody in the Parker County Jail.
