Beto O’Rourke Launches 2020 Campaign In El Paso

(El Paso, TX)  —  Beto O’Rourke is officially on the campaign trail for 2020.

The former Texas congressman kicked off a day of rallies on Saturday in his home city of El Paso.  O’Rourke said he was proud to start his bid for presidency in a city of immigrants and asylum seekers.  O’Rourke said his campaign supports action on comprehensive immigration reform, global warming, abortion, universal pre-K, and pay raises for teachers.

Later Saturday, he made appearances in Houston and Austin.
