(Mansfield, Tx) – A racist video posted on social media has the Mansfield ISD investigating.

A Lake Ridge High School student posted the video showing a student smearing their face with black body paint and using a racial slur.  The district issued a statement saying, “These behaviors do not reflect who we are or aspire to be in MISD and will not be tolerated.”  A letter informing parents about the video says the incident did not happen on a Mansfield ISD campus and will be handled according to the student code of conduct.

District officials put additional counselors on the Lake Ridge campus to talk to students who may be troubled by the video and said they are working with Twitter to remove it.
