(Fort Worth, Tx) – A suspended Fort Worth Police Officer has now been fired by the department.

Jared Holt was suspended from Fort Worth PD earlier this year after being accused of selling anabolic steroids out of a storage shed at his home in Parker County.  Holt, who’s 28, had been with Fort Worth PD since 2017.  The Fort Worth Star Telegram reports Holt was arrested in February after being indicted by a Parker County grand jury on a charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.  Investigators say he and 5 others were selling illegal steroids and other dangerous drugs.

Holt maintains the substances were legal and has appealed his termination.
