Stanley Black & Decker Building New Manufacturing Facility

(Fort Worth, TX) — Stanley Black & Decker is going to build a new manufacturing facility in North Texas and bring 500 jobs with it.

The company announced the 425,000 sq ft plant, saying it will be focused on sockets, ratchets, and wrenches. The plant, scheduled for a late 2020 opening, will be built in far north Fort Worth at AllianceTexas, near I-35W and Eagle Parkway.

The City of Fort Worth is giving Stanley Black & Decker a 40-percent tax abatement.
