Flooded Section Of Dallas Love Field Parking Garage Closed

(Dallas, TX) — Part of a parking garage at Dallas Love Field that flooded last month will be closed until further notice.

Heavy rains on April 24th flooded the ground floor of Garage A, inundating about 100 parking spaces in the lowest part of the garage near the terminal. Dozens of cars were swamped in the flood waters. The water was pumped out and a blockage in the drain system was cleared up, but Love Field officials are keeping the garage section closed for now.

The airport’s three garages still have about 12-thousand parking spaces available.
