(Fort Worth, Tx) – Bond has been set at $100,000 for the man that abducted an 8-year-old Fort Worth girl over the weekend.

Michael Webb remains in the Tarrant County on an Aggravated Kidnapping charge.  He’s accused of snatching Salem Sabatka off the street while she was taking a walk with her mother in their Ryan Place neighborhood Saturday evening.  Salem was found 8 hours later with Webb at a motel in Forest Hill.

Forest Hill Police say about two hours before the girl was found, they were called to the WoodSpring Suites motel on a tip that the suspect might be there.  They went to Webb’s room, questioned him, but say there was no sign of Salem so they left.  Following another tip that Webb and the girl were at the motel, Forest Hill officers returned around 2am Sunday, along with Fort Worth Officers who found the girl in the room this time.

According to court records, Webb’s address is listed as Tyler, but he had reportedly been staying with a family member in Fort Worth for the last six months.
