After 6 Days, Fort Worth Hiker Found Safe

(Fort Worth, Tx) – A hiker from Fort Worth is expected to make a full recovery after he was lost in an Arkansas forest for almost a week.

Officials said on Sunday that Joshua McClatchy was dehydrated but otherwise okay when he was found Saturday.

The search for the 38-year-old man began after he sent a text to his mother asking her to send help when he became lost on the Buckeye Trail in Arkansas. McClatchy had been missing since June 1st.
