(Granbury, Tx) – Hood County residents of Arrowhead Shores and Lake Granbury Harbor are under a boil water notice.

Customers in the Oak Trail Shores water system have been told to boil their water due to a water main leak.  The utility company says the leak caused low pressure in the distribution system and that repairs to the water main are underway.  They recommend water be brought to a vigorous rolling boil for two minutes prior to drinking, brushing teeth and washing your hands or face.

Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will notify customers.
