(Burleson, Tx) – The Tri County Auto Theft Task Force is investigating the theft of five brand new work trucks that were stolen from Edison Power Constructors in Burleson earlier this week.

According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, the stolen vehicles were white Ford F250 heavy duty trucks.  Some were flatbed trucks, and not all of the trucks were marked with the company logo.   The Sheriff’s Office says one of the trucks was involved in a hit-and-run accident that happened between 6-8 a.m. Wednesday near Kentucky Road and County Road 1004 in the Joshua/Godley area.
