(Cleburne, Tx) – Cleburne Police say a man from Rosenburg intentionally drove his car into a crowd of people at Carver Park.

After a brief police chase, Lartress Wydell Davis was arrested on four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of evading arrest.  According to the Cleburne Times Review, four people were struck by Davis’ car late Saturday night.  All four were taken to hospitals, treated and released.  Davis told investigators that he was mad because a group of men at the park had jumped him.

Davis remains in the Johnson County Jail with bail set at $85,000.
