Million-Dollar Texas Lottery Winning Ticket Expires Next Week

(Austin, TX) — One lucky Texan’s luck is about to run out if he doesn’t cash in a million-dollar winning lottery ticket by next week.

Somebody bought the winning Mega Millions Quick Pick ticket at a 7-Eleven in Richardson on January 1st. The ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers that were drawn, but not the Mega Ball number. The winner has until 5 p.m. next Friday, June 28th, to claim the ticket in person at a Texas Lottery claim center.

The ticket can also be claimed by mail, but it has to be postmarked before Sunday, June 30th.
