(Bluff Dales, Tx) – A 19-year-old Stephenville woman is recovering after she was shot over the weekend in Bluff Dale.

Few details have been released, however the Erath County Sheriff’s Department released a statement saying around 1am Saturday, they got a call that a woman had been shot and was being driven to the hospital in Granbury.  She was later flown to a Fort Worth hospital where she’s reportedly in stable condition.  Sheriff Matt Coates told the Stephenville Empire Tribune “We have not yet made an arrest, but we do have a suspect.”

Coates would not say where the woman was shot or the circumstances surrounding the incident, citing the ongoing investigation.  Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Erath County Sheriff’s Office at 254-965-3338.
