Blue Bell Trying To Identify Woman In Viral Ice Cream-Licking Video

(Brenham, TX) — Blue Bell Ice Cream is working with police and retailers to identify a woman seen licking ice cream and then placing the container back into the store’s freezer.

The video has gone viral on social media, but it’s not known where the footage was shot or when, or who the woman is. The Brenham-based creamery says it will try to track down the woman. She could be charged with Tampering with Food.

Blue Bell says the ice cream in its containers forms a seal by freezing to the lid. The company issued a statement Monday thanking customers for bringing the incident to their attention. Customers should be able to notice if a lid has been removed or tampered with.
