Mansfield Church Opens Housing Complex For Elderly

(Mansfield, TX) — A church in Mansfield is now operating an affordable senior living apartment complex.

The congregation of Bethlehem Baptist Church bought a vacant plot of land across the street from the church building two years ago. The church then worked with the Hunts, Carlton Companies, and Community Bank of Texas to build the 135-unit complex known as Pioneer Place.

The one and two bedroom units rent for $325 to $900 a month, depending on what the resident can afford.
