(Stephenville, Tx) – A 12-year-old girl was found hundreds of miles away from home Saturday night after going missing from Stephenville City Park over the holiday weekend.

According to the Stephenville Empire Tribune, the girl was reported missing from the park by her father about 7 a.m. Saturday.  Stephenville police immediately issued a description and photo of the girl on social media asking for the public’s help in finding her.  By 10:00 Saturday night, the girl had been located in San Antonio with an 18-year-old man she reportedly met online.

Police say Hakeem Ismaaeel Abdulrahim, drove to Stephenville to pick the girl up and take her back to his apartment in San Antonio.  He was taken into custody and charged with harboring a runaway and online solicitation of a minor under the age of 14.
