Mild Quake Hits North Texas

(Rendon, TX) — No injuries or damages have been reported after a mild earthquake hit northern Johnson County on Monday.

The United States Geological Society says the two-point-six magnitude quake, which is fairly weak, happened right after noon.  Its epicenter was in rural Rendon, near Retta Mansfield Road.  The nearest town of any size was Mansfield.
