(Stephenville, Tx) – The Erath County Sheriff’s Office says a second man sought in connection with a shooting in Bluff Dale has been taken into custody.

21-year-old Michael Martindias is charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.  According to the Stephenville Empire Tribune, Martindias was arrested last week in California, where he reportedly fled after the June 22nd shooting.  He was brought back to Erath County where his bond was set at $100,000.  Investigators believe Martindias was involved in the shooting of a 19-year-old Granbury woman after their two groups met up in a convenience store parking lot.

19-year-old Erik Matthew Bentz has already been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting, investigators say was “totally random”.
