(Weatherford, Tx) – A North Texas homebuilder, on probation for stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a Parker County woman had his probation revoked and was sentenced to 50 years in prison Monday by a District Judge in Weatherford.

The Weatherford Democrat reports 55-year-old Joseph Charles “Chuck” Cole of Maypearl, bought a beach house in Florida, multiple vehicles and gave his children thousands of dollars instead of paying the woman back, restitution of more than $1.5 million from his 2018 embezzlement conviction.

Two other victims from 2002 and 2008 testified that Cole stole from them on construction projects, with amounts totaling over a million dollars.
